The students had a lot of excitement this week!
English Language Arts
- The field trip to the Henry Ford Museum was a huge success thanks to our wonderful chaperones and the great behavior of the students. They showed a lot of maturity and curiosity on the trip.
- We also had a special guest in our classroom on Thursday. My son, Jack, joined us for take your child to work day. He had a blast, and I was so impressed with how well the students adjusted to having him here. They showed him how the "big kids" should act at school and they were all so kind to him throughout the day.
- Don't forget the 4th graders will start MSTEP testing next week. Test days will only be Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for them the first week. Monday will be a preparatory activity and Wednesday will be the field trip to the Warren Symphony.
- During 4th grade testing, 3rd graders will be split up between the other 3rd grade teachers. They will participate along with the class they are assigned to on those days.
- It was also just announced that there will be NO SCHOOL on May 5th which is a statewide election day.
